We here at SportingFords, Welcome all owners of all fords from MK1 Cortina's, Track Prepped Maxi L2, and your standard run of the mill 1.4 LX Escort. Each and everyone is treated as equal, and just because your car doesn't have an RS badge, doesn't mean your not welcome. We are a Car Club That Prides ourselves in freedom of speech and generally just about having fun and a good time. Feel free to ask anything you need on our forums as there wont be a question unanswered.

SportingFords is the creation of five friends, Sam, Kev aka Minirotty, Deano, Steve aka D19 STE and PhilBotley. The reasons behind this Club being created are the love of Fords of all shapes and sizes, firstly this forum will have members that have been invited and we trust that these members will represent this forum in a great light. Cars we expect to represent this forum/club are to be creative, reflective of the owners personality, if you don't choose to mod your car or even pick up a spanner that's all good but, we aren't being posh/rude here but we don't wish this forum to turn into a chavfest, that's one reason this forum has been created.

Charges for using this forum? there wont be any for the foreseeable future but if members in the future feel they want to have access to a members only area on this forum then one will be added - and for this we will ask a donation to be made to the club. Most of you who will be users of this forum know me personally and also will know my other four friends who I've stated above personally, so you will understand the reason this forum has been created more than most, we ask that you advertise and promote this forum as warm and friendly place to be with other like minded ford owners. So lets create a place here we all want to be, any ideas or input as to what you would like to se here or get from SportingFords will be received and discussed.

The aims and objectives this forum has for the future? We would like to see this forum grow, have many members and not dwindle into the history of ford forums with others, this wont happen, why do I know this wont happen? Because of the friends building this place, old school + new school ford enthusiasts that are friends and loyal to each other which have already stood the test of time so no barriers in that respect.

UPDATE: In February 2009 Deano took time out from the SportingFords, With much going on in his home including getting married, we were saddend to see him take time out but respected his wishes. The team then enrolled Billie.Skeggs, a long serving member from the beginning as new moderator, and with the demise of our previous web host, helped got the forums back to full health.

As you can see Sporting Fords is not just another Car Enthusiasts Club, Were a family. and treat all with the same respect we would be expected to be treated with.
